Elizabeth is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While there, she studied both the common and civil systems of law as well as international law and immigration law. As a student, she spent her summers as an extern for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Mexico City, Mexico while also serving as an extern in the local mexican courts.
Elizabeth began her professional legal career as a Public Defender before joining a private criminal defense firm which focused on DUI defense. Later, Elizabeth opened her own practice. Today, her practice focuses on immigration, real estate, family and criminal law.
Elizabeth is also a certified mediator and arbitrator. In fact, Elizabeth is a founding member of Mediators Beyond Borders.
